Foreign flags at basketball tourney in Tulsa?

I received this email from a trusted source. Am working to verify that it happened this way. What is going on?!?!

From Tulsa's Bruce Delay -- Heartland Strategy

Something amazing happened in Tulsa this weekend. The Mid-Con Conference basketball tournament began. Oral Roberts University is in this NCAA conference, and the game was held at the "U-MAC" a very nice arena at Union High School (Union has a better basketball arena and football stadium than most small colleges have).

Before the game, they did a nice salute to our soldiers. Then the Color Guard marched out with the Flags: The USA flag... the Canadian flag... the Mexican flag... and the Oklahoma flag. No teams in the Mid-Con conference reside in Canada or Mexico. A quick look at the game's program revealed that no players from either team were even from Canada or Mexico.

As the National Anthem was sung, in deference to the American flag, the Oklahoma State flag was dipped to a lower posture. That's proper flag etiquette. But the Mexican and Canadian flags remained erect. The efforts by proponants of the North American Union (ala the European Union) to dissolve our borders and remove our national soveriegnty - marches on.

Will Americans care enough to do something? If an entire basketball arena full of people had approached the color guard, demanding the Canadian and Mexican flags be lowered and removed, what would have happened? I know if I had been there, I would have had to go down there and make a scene. That's what it's going to take.

UPDATE (3/8/07): The Tulsa minister, Bruce DeLay, who brought this to my attention, got back with me and said the flags were provided by some Shriners who represent all of North America. I'll accept that explanation, I s'pose.
