Shreveport dentist dies after being poisoned/ strange 9-11 link

I recall reading this strange story of Shreveport, Louisiana-based dentist David Graham, who reported in 2004 of being poisoned, this after telling the FBI he had run into three alleged 9/11 plotters who were being hosted by a Bossier City-based Pakistani man, Jamal Khan. Who is the mysterious Khan and where is he now?

Anyway, at the time of the Graham incident, I wondered if anything else would come of it. Of course I was particularly interested in it because of the Louisiana connection. Sadly, the man succumbed to the poisoning.

The story was mentioned last week on KTBS Channel 3 in Shreveport and picked up by several blogs, including The Buck Stops Here and Cannonfire. Not surprisingly, there's no mention of Graham's unusual death or the circumstances surrounding it in the local daily, the Gannett-owned Shreveport Times. That paper has dropped the ball time and again on some big stories, like the crop circle story I did three years ago. Yep, it was an actual crop circle that appeared in an overgrown, weed-choked vacant lot behind the Shreve City shopping center in the spring of 2003.

Wellstone plane downed by 'pilot error' says Ventura

Was listening to Alex Jones's interesting interview with former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura, played on "The Alex Jones Show" on GCN.

After discussing government complicity in terror attacks, Jones asks Ventura about Minnesota Gov. Paul Wellstone's plane crash in 2002 and whether or not it was taken down or simply crashed due to pilot error. Ventura got very loud at this question and said it was "pilot error" and that "I would've never flown that day." He then dismissed Prof. Jim Fetzer's research (which would include his book "American Assassination" which I reviewed for a Louisiana newspaper almost two years ago). I wonder if Fetzer (who will be on "Hannity and Colmes" tonight) will respond to Ventura's comments on the Jones show.

Roberts: 'Why Bush Will Nuke Iran'

In his latest, hard-hitting column, Paul Craig Roberts doesn't mince words. Check out the first two paragraphs:
The neoconservative Bush administration will attack Iran with tactical nuclear weapons, because it is the only way the neocons believe they can rescue their goal of U.S. (and Israeli) hegemony in the Middle East.
The U.S. has lost the war in Iraq and in Afghanistan. Generals in both war theaters are stating their need for more troops. But there are no troops to send.
Bush has tried to pawn Afghanistan off on NATO, but Europe does not see any point in sacrificing its blood and money for the sake of American hegemony. The NATO troops in Afghanistan are experiencing substantial casualties from a revived Taliban, and European governments are not enthralled over providing cannon fodder for U.S. hegemony.

Jesse 'The Mind' Ventura questions official 9/11 fairy tale

Great piece by Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson about former Minnesota Governor and wrestling star Jesse Ventura saying that he doesn't buy the 9/11 fairy tale peddled by our corrupt government.
I'm glad to see Ventura is standing up for truth. I wish he had looked into the anomalies surrounding the downing of Sen. Paul Wellstone's plane in October 2002, while Ventura was governor of Minnesota. Who knows, maybe he will say something in the near future.

Oh, and I totally hope Kinky Friedman is the next governor of Texas!

'Say No to the New World Order' message crosses the pond

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the "Where's George" concept. Basically, people write or stamp "Go to 'WheresGeorge.com' and see where this bill has been" (or some variation of that). You then go to the site and enter the serial number information and you can track it as it makes its way around the country (or world, even!). It's quite fun and addictive. I've been involved with WG off and on since 1999 when I did a story on it for a Louisiana newspaper.

Anyway, I got a couple of WG bills at a local convenience store. When I typed in their serial numbers, I found they had come from Claremore, Oklahoma in the northeastern part of the state. Pretty neat. Now, I'm not nearly as involved with WG as I used to be but I figured I'd check to see if any bills I've entered in the past seven years had been found recently.

Well, as it turns out, on this very day, in Lakenheath, United Kingdom, a bill I had entered in October 2003, three years ago, had been found. As I wrote at the time on WheresGeorge.com: "I had a funny feeling I had a WG bill in my wallet this morning. Just as I was pulling out money to put in the collection plate there it was. I remember I got the bill as change at a gun show in Lafayette, LA on 10/25/03.Neat, huh?"

Now, the guy who found the bill I had entered in 2003 noted that at the top of the bill someone (ahem!!) had written "Say No to the New World Order." The British guy noted that he was "going to write 'suck it' on its back in the circle with the eagle." Wow! My anti NWO message was read by some anonymous Brit. What a small world, eh?

Why do the neocons hate us?

Good post over at Kurt Nimmo's Another Day In the Empire site titled "Krauthammer, Iran and the End of Days." This one deals with the neocons desire to unite us against an "enemy" because it's good for the "state." Of course that "enemy" may not really be a threat, and in the case of Iran, there is no evidence that they pose a threat at all, despite what neocon radio talk show hosts (like Glenn Beck, as I type this) tell you.

Yes, Karl Rove speaks of an "October Surprise." Is it the head of Bin Laden? An attack on Iran? With Rove and his ilk, it's easy to think the worst. These guys are vermin who are willing to take us all down in order to achieve their nefarious goals.

Raimondo column notes what Ahmadinejad, Chavez really said at UN

Justin Raimondo's latest Antiwar.com column, "World Politics and Showbiz," addresses the recent events at the United Nations General Assembly and specifically the comments made by Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez and Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

And as I sit here, neocon shill Glenn Beck (who can be amusing at times) is saying Ahmadinejad (whom Beck calls "President Tom") is preparing to attack us and/or Israel. He and many other neocon scum have been saying this, based on what? What proof do they have?
Yet, at a press conference, Ahmadinejad says: "And let me say that at the same time, we are Muslims. And based on a decree given by the leader of the Islamic republic, moving toward having a nuclear bomb is banned and forbidden. Therefore, no one has the right to move in this direction. In our country, it is not permissible."

So, what is it? Why are we about to go to war, destroying America in the process? Granted, Ahmadinejad is scarily slick and isn't cool when it comes to giving his people full freedom. Yet, you have to look at what he is saying and study it. Dismissing it out of hand is stupid and dangerous. These neocons know it, yet as Raimondo says in his column the pro-war propaganda in the media plays on the fears of the public on a "primordial, sub-literate level."

This is all insanity and in light of plotter Karl Rove calling for an "October Surprise." I wonder what the surprise will be?

'Dusty' Todd Whitman needs to be investigated

I remember in the days after the 9/11 inside job that the government, namely the Environmental Protection Agency, seemed careless when it came to making sure people were aware of how dangerous the air was in and around the WTC Ground Zero site.
When the neocons took down the towers and that toxic cloud of horrors enveloped the southern tip of Manhattan, I mean, what moron wouldn't realize it was dangerous and potentially deadly.

And now people are dying because of our corrupt government.Well, more and more is being discovered about then-EPA head Christie (Dusty) Todd Whitman, the person who allowed folks to live and work down there, covering up the danger that people faced. Now people are dying.

And whistleblowers are being harassed by government thugs for daring to speak out about the issue.Now the Murdoch-owned New York Post has a shocking article about Whitman and her complicity in putting people at risk. The article also notes that Whitman had a conflict of interest because of financial interests (Port Authority and Citigroup-Travelers). Whitman needs to be indicted. I hope the investigation begins soon.

Chavez speech simply sizzles, blasts BushCo

Holy Toledo!!! Have you read the transcript of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's speech at the United Nations today? He totally smokes the neocon/BushCo crime syndicate while offering a message of hope. He calls Bush "The Devil" and talks of the CIA-staged coup that nearly resulted in his own death. It was awe-inspiring!

The following portion of the transcript (from The Drudge Report) was particularly revealing, discussing how our own government covers up for terrorist acts perpetrated and/or supported by dark forces within our own government.

CHAVEZ (THROUGH TRANSLATOR): President Michelle Bachelet reminded us just a moment ago of the horrendous assassination of the former foreign minister, Orlando Letelier.
And I would just add one thing: Those who perpetrated this crime are free. And that other event where an American citizen also died were American themselves. They were CIA killers, terrorists.

And other tremendously corrupt people who escaped from Venezuela are also living here under protection: a group that bombed various embassies, that assassinated people during the coup.
They kidnapped me and they were going to kill me, but I think God reached down and our people came out into the streets and the army was too, and so I'm here today. But these people who led that coup are here today in this country protected by the American government. And I accuse the American government of protecting terrorists and of having a completely cynical discourse.

Unrest in Hungary, coup in Thailand, silence in USA

Last night, when I came back from my supper break, I heard a radio report noting that rioters were running wild in Budapest, Hungary. Details were sketchy and it caught my attention because my brother is living there.

So, I went and checked the Internet and found out why they were rioting - because socialist Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany had candidly admitted that he and his government had totally lied about the Hungarian economy in order to be re-elected. Gyurcsany was taped saying: "We lied morning, noon and night." He also said they had accomplished nothing for the past two-and-a-half years.

My brother said he was only nominally aware of the violence and protests. He said he'd keep us posted.

Then, half-way across the globe in normally stable Thailand, a military coup took over that country's government while Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra was in New York attending the United Nations General Assembly. It is unclear at this time what this coup means or what will happen when Shinawatra returns. This is one to watch.

And then in our country, the United States of America, your average Joe or Jill is wandering about totally unaware of the tyranny that is being installed in our great Republic. WAKE UP AMERICA, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!

Noted war criminal calls for 'new world order'

The "gloves" appear to be coming off among those nesting with the upper crust of the global elite. This morning this was made all too clear when I saw an AP story, linked through The Drudge Report, where former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, a war criminal and he of the fake foreign accent, scolds Europe and says that America and Europe need to unite against the "growing" threat from those backward countries in the Middle East and Asia. He's dropping phrases like "war of civilizations."

Says Henry: "We now know that we face the imperative of building a new world order or potential global catastrophe. It cannot be done alone by either side of the Atlantic. Is that realization sufficient to regenerate a common purpose?"

It's your sons and daughters (and the rest of us, eventually) who are going to die in these future wars due to the scheming of the likes of Kissinger, Bush and this international gang of scum. Don't forget what Kissinger thinks about soldiers, as noted in this well-known quote: “Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.” - Henry Kissinger, quoted in “Kiss the Boys Goodbye: How the United States Betrayed Its Own POW’s in Vietnam”

Shouting truth to power

My good friend J. Andrew was at UNC in Chapel Hill tonight and did a very courageous thing as former attorney general John Ashcroft spoke at a conservative forum at that North Carolina university. He stood up and said "Why didn't you take any commercial jet flights in the months prior to 9/11?"

Apparently, Ashcroft tried to paint it as a conspiratorial fairy tale. Yet, if you check it out, as I did, it's true. Ashcroft did avoid commercial jet travel in the summer of '01. Here's a link for you.

And a big shout out to J. Andrew for his brave stand in that auditorium full of Bushites. He's a true inspiration. He told me that after Ashcroft finished and all these people were clapping for Ashcroft, J. Andrew got up and said, "Google it!" AWESOME!!!

DU train

The following was emailed to me over the weekend. It comes from a trusted source. I wonder what it means ...

At the Lake Charles, Louisiana gun show last weekend, a witness told of being stopped at a railroad crossing by a train load of "knocked-out" Abrahms tanks! He told of one of the five or six tanks having a hole "this big" (gesturing to about two and a half feet in diameter) in the turret...!??
As well as other signs of trauma to the others. Is this Hezbollah weapon being used against US troops? Sure looks like it. IED's do not kill Abrahms tanks. Unless they are real big. 'Course, that train was spread fine particles of DU along the tracks! Abrahms tanks have DU sandwiched between the Chobham layers. When hit with kinectic energy or high expolsive rounds, DU spalls off in microscopic particles finer than that capable of being filtered out by military gas masks!!!

There has been one incident on the C3 (controlled, commercial, co-dependent) news wherein a US tanker is seen on fire bailing out of his burning Abrahms! Nothing else that I am aware of.

This is disconcerting. I recall hearing about a similar train passing through rural Kansas. Imagine the children that could come into contact with this train while traveling through their communities. It's outrageous what our government is getting away with.

Osama bin Forgotten is deep in his Afghani cave (yeah, right!)

Except for the spewage coming across the radio waves today (your pick of neocon nitwits, et.al.) I largely avoided dwelling on any 9/11 remembrance propaganda. I was kind of wanting to go to the Freedom Walk in Oklahoma City and hold my "9/11 Was an Inside Job" placard, but because of other responsibilities didn't get the opportunity to do so. However, I did come across a few choice columns today, including this one from Antiwar.com's Justin Raimondo (check out the link to the curious Haaretz article linked towards the end ... hmmm) and this cranky column from Mad Cow Morning News' Daniel Hopsicker.

And those are just a couple of the ones I came across today in my free time. Yup, it's five years later. Someone at work asked me about my thoughts about 9/11 and I said: "Nine-eleven, huh? I'm tired of those numbers because they remind of how much my government lies to me." The woman responded with a knowing nod. I'm just glad more people are warming up to the idea that cold-blooded killers within their own government hatched this whole 9/11 scheme with ruthless precision.

And what of Osama bin Laden? Who the hell knows. Check out this UK Guardian article headlined "The hunt." Check out this paragraph: Rarely has so much brought so little. The US has spent billions on the search. It has mobilised armies, bribed informers, bullied allies, emptied bank accounts, tapped phones, abducted suspects and assassinated his henchmen. It has, without a doubt, seriously damaged al-Qaida's ability to carry out terrorist attacks. Yet still the scarlet pimpernel of jihad roams free.

Roams free, eh? I wouldn't go that far. All indications are that Osama has long since died, back in some Western hospital in Dubai. Or perhaps in a cave. No one is really quite sure.

9/11 truthers gaining ground, noted in MSM

Interesting piece in the Washington Post today (linked through Marc Parent's LiveJournal) headlined: "9/11 conspiracy theorists multiply
Many Americans suspect U.S. government involvement or complicity."
This was written in advance of Monday's five-year anniversary of the government-sponsored terror attack on 9/11/01. I love how former Bush administration official Morgan O. Reynolds, who believes in government complicity on 9/11 calls his former boss a "dysfunctional creep."

Brigham Young U. prof on paid leave following 9/11 truth research

The Deseret News in Salt Lake City is reporting today that 9/11 Truthseeker, Prof. Steven Jones, has been placed on paid leave from his teaching job at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Writes reporter Tad Walch: PROVO — Brigham Young University placed physics professor Steven Jones on paid leave Thursday while it reviews his involvement in the so-called "9/11 truth movement" that accuses unnamed government agencies of orchestrating the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center.
BYU will conduct an official review of Jones' actions before determining a course of action, university spokeswoman Carri Jenkins said. Such a review is rare for a professor with "continuing status" at BYU, where Jones has taught since 1985.
Jones was teaching two classes this semester, which began Tuesday. Other professors will cover those classes, and Jones will be allowed to continue to do research in his area of academic study, Jenkins said.
Jones became a celebrity among 9/11 conspiracy-theory groups after he wrote a paper titled "Why Indeed Did the World Trade Center Buildings Collapse?" The paper was published two weeks ago in the book "9/11 and American Empire: Intellectuals Speak Out" and lays out Jones' hypothesis that the three towers fell because of pre-positioned demolition charges — not because of the planes that hit two of the towers.

This is an outrage and a serious threat to academic freedom. So, if a professor takes an unpopular stance on a subject, they are in danger of being kicked out? This is horrible. Don't you all see where this is leading? Pretty soon they'll be passing legislation which will deny public universities funding if they don't embrace the status quo. I guess the corporate leftists at Air America are getting nervous that 9/11 truth is getting discussed on their network a little too much. As a result, Air America personalities Janeane Garofalo and Mike Malloy (who was on Alex Jones' show last month) have been forced off the air.

Popular CNN anchor a CIA plant?

It was revealed today over at Radar Online that popular CNN anchor Anderson Cooper is not only a Yalie (Skull & Bones, perhaps? Like Washington Post's Dana Milbank?) he's also a former CIA intern. Can you say "Operation Mockingbird," gang? I never cared for Cooper, particularly with the way he's dismissed 9/11 Truth. Now I understand him a little better.

Always be wary of government-sanctioned "terror drills." This time there will be one in Chicago tomorrow (Thursday). Remember on 9/11 there were drills going on. Conveniently used to confuse the good people in our gov't/military.

Break in Johnny Gosch abduction mystery?

After the zany antics of White House man-whore Jeff Gannon in early '05, the "Internets" were abuzz with theories linking the mysterious bald man with a more-than two-decade old mystery that had it's roots in suburban Des Moines, Iowa - namely the mystery surrounding Des Moines Register paperboy Johnny Gosch, who disappeared while delivering papers on Sept. 5, 1982.

As I reported at Slice O' Life back in early '05, there were a lot of strange things about Gannon (aka James Guckert) and who he really was. He was basically outed as a male prostitute and frequent visitor to the White House after hours. Hmmm ...

Anyway, when the Johnny Gosch/Jeff Gannon connection was made, well, it was surreal. I think the whole thing peaked when "Gannon" appeared on a show denying his being Gosch, while taking a lie detector test. I still think there's a strong likelihood "Gannon" is Gosch. They would be about the same age.

Anyway, I was shocked to see today that Noreen Gosch, Johnny's mother, came forward this week telling the police and the media that some photos appeared on her doorstep appearing to be young Johnny and some other kidnapped boys, pictures taken within hours or days after his abduction.

"It's like reliving it," Noreen Gosch told The Associated Press on Thursday night. "But the bigger picture is, 'Why are they doing this?'
"Whoever had these photos had them for 24 years. I don't understand why they would do this now. It must be some kind of message."

Why are they doing this? Who are they? Are the photos even real? This needs to be seriously scrutinized.

BushCo fatigue growing across the land

This new Christian Science Monitor article by Tom Regan notes a number of new polls showing Americans are not only sick of the illegal war in Iraq but weary of dishonest Dubya.

Writes Regan: A new CNN poll shows that only about one-third of Americans now support the war in Iraq, with 61 percent opposed. Fifty-one percent of Americans see President Bush as a strong leader, although he doesn't do well in other areas of the survey.

Most Americans (54 percent) don't consider him honest, most (54 percent) don't think he shares their values and most (58 percent) say he does not inspire confidence.
Bush's stand on the issues is also problematic, with more than half (57 percent) of Americans saying they disagree with him on the issues they care about. That's an indication that issues, not personal characteristics, are keeping his approval rating well below 50 percent ...

Bush dismissed a question about his popularity during a news conference Monday.
"I don't think you've ever heard me say: 'Gosh, I better change positions because the polls say this or that,'" he told reporters. "I've been here long enough to understand, you cannot make good decisions if you're trying to chase a poll." He added, "I'm going to do what I think is right, and if, you know, if people don't like me for it, that's just the way it is."

Thanks to Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson over at PrisonPlanet.com, (check out Watson's excellent article!!!) I've been alerted to an Armed Forces Journal article written by retired Maj. Ralph Peters, along with an accompanying map, showing a NEW Middle East, that shows how he and other bloodthirsty neocons want to put their stamp on the region. I mean, just check out this line: "Oh, and one other dirty little secret from 5,000 years of history: Ethnic cleansing works."

But if the rejected journalist expects a refund of his or her $108, $102, or $100, he or she can guess again. According to the U.S. embassy in Germany, "refunds of this fee are rarely granted, and generally only in cases in which the embassy has made an error in processing the visa application. In the case in which a visa request has been refused or an applicant has erroneously paid the fee twice, a refund will not be approved."

Opposition mounts against Texas governor and his support of TTC

This Trans-Texas Corridor is becoming more unpopular by the day. And with the Texas gubernatorial race well underway, Gov. Rick Perry is feeling the sting.

As reported in the Houston Chronicle in a new article headlined "Perry's vision for rural highway could become a political pothole."

Writes Chronicle reporter R.G. Ratcliffe: All four of Perry's re-election challengers oppose the corridor. Democrat Chris Bell, independent Kinky Friedman and Libertarian James Werner all have spoken out against it. Comptroller Carole Keeton Strayhorn, running as an independent, attended many of the hearings and called the project the "Trans-Texas Catastrophe" while promising to stop Perry's "land-grabbing highway henchmen."
One of Perry's fellow Republicans on the statewide ballot — U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison — also has criticized the project, saying it imposes too heavily on rural landowners.
The Republican Party of Texas in June passed a plank in its platform calling for the repeal of legislation authorizing the Trans-Texas Corridor. The Texas Farm Bureau — a longtime Perry political supporter — wants the state to scrap the project.

Ratcliffe also notes that over 14,000 Texans came out to public forums expressing their opposition to arrogant Perry's American Union superboondoggle. I'm sure there are many more who are against the Trans-Texas Corridor and rightly so. In fact, my old stomping grounds in good ol' Ellis County, Texas would be split in two, right down the middle. I'm glad the Ellis County Press (and columnist and friend Jimmie Simmons in particular) is coming out against the TTC.

Boren admin. covers up prank 'terror' event at OU library

Great work from Bellaciao writer Mike Wright out of Norman, Oklahoma. This time, he writes about University of Oklahoma Pres. David Boren covering up an event in the OU library where students had a prank "terror" attack using Super Soaker water guns. This happened in Oct. 2005, just weeks after Joel Henry Hinrichs III blew himself up outside OU Memorial Stadium. And, when an alum tried to alert campus police HE was punished and banned from campus for six months. This is yet another example of Boren and his henchman using their power and CIA connections to cover up any bad news that may put the university in a poor light. Keep up the good work, Mike!

DU : An atrocity against people and the planet

Several times on this blog I've noted stories I've come across addressing the insidiousness of depleted uranium. It is nasty, nasty stuff and our government has used it over and over - thousands upon thousands of tons of this stuff in munitions and bombs used in the Middle East and Central Asia. It causes sicknesses ranging from cancer to genetic mutations and worse.

As noted over at Marc Parent's LiveJournal blog, using depleted uranium is a war crime and leads not just to genocide against defenseless human beings but "omnicide" in this article headlined "Doing the Wrong Thing in Afghanistan: Depleted Uranium, The Definitive Moral Paradox."

Venezuelan government captures four US spies

Is it just me, or does Hugo Chavez seem like a character straight out of Woody Allen's 1971 film "Bananas"? (one of my favorite Woody Allen films, by the way, next to "Stardust Memories").

Check out this paragraph and Chavez quote in a new AP article on the American spies captured in Venezuela: Speaking to a sea of supporters, Chavez read the name of the official named by (John) Negroponte to head the Cuba and Venezuela mission, 32-year intelligence veteran J. Patrick Maher, and laughed.
"They selected 'Jack the Ripper,"' Chavez said. "What a little problem this is."

Chavez then went on to say: "These are signs that the empire doesn't rest," Chavez said, referring to the U.S. "The plan to try to destabilize us has already begun."

Fleeing into the wilderness

I've been suspicious of Mike Ruppert for several years now. Suspicious that he was a CIA operative and Peak (snake) Oil salesman. Well, I came across this curious From the Wilderness report from Ruppert saying that he has fled the United States to begin a new life in Venezuela.

I understand he's worried about his future, following some alarming attacks on his office in Oregon. Still, I would've expected him to stay in the U.S. until the bitter end. Will be interesting to read his Latin American dispatches from here on out.

Strange beasts

I'm sure many of you have seen the photos and reports on the wolf-like "hybrid-mutant" found dead in Maine, a report that has received international attention. I'm sure folks in Latin America are amused by all this attention, considering how common chupacabra and alien sightings are in that part of the world. The best information came from Cryptomundo, a great site for those interested in cryptozoology.

And over at Cryptomundo, they continue to note the strange Bigfoot sightings reported on the isolated Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.

It's very curious. The creature, whatever it is, is an enormous beast with unusual features on its head, at least according to this report from Pine Ridge police officer James Twiss: "the first two sightings was called in as a tall (10 to 15 feet tall) who appeared to be wearing a stovepipe hat and long coat. It was reported to be peeking into a apartment complex commons room where there was several witnesses."

Twiss notes in his report that a similar, stovepipe-hat-wearing creature with a long coat was reported in the same area 20 years earlier. Very "Mothman Prophecies"-esque. Eerie!

9/11 truth is getting increased exposure!

The 9/11 Truth movement continues to make headway in our fight against the belligerent neocons. The latest victory was Alex Jones getting WorldNetDaily to issue a retraction to a story - "9/11 Bush Bashers" - written by neocon tool Jonathon Moseley. This came after a contentious interview on "The Alex Jones Show" yesterday where Jones and 9/11 truther Prof. Jim Fetzer lay into Moseley and show him the error of his ways. It was beautiful!

Folks, we are making advances in getting the truth out there regarding what really happened on 9/11. It's obvious to me that the neocons are getting nervous and feeling cornered because the truth is being exposed to the light of day. When I saw that obnoxious editorial this past week in The Oklahoman, attacking the movement, sure, I was angry, but after I settled down I knew that this was very good because we truthseekers are in the majority! The cover-up artists at papers like The Oklahoman or the Sheboygan Press in Wisconsin ... they are getting hammered with emails and letters from people who are tired of the lies!

Strange missile startles Hawaiians

The Drudge Report is noting a Honolulu Star-Bulletin story today which reports that a UFO flew over a Hilo, Hawaii airport.

"That witness saw a silver tube with no markings or fins, trailing "vapor" that quickly dispersed." The witness also noted that the missile-like object made a sound that was "super loud."

In light of the mock drill scheduled in Hawaii this week, you never know what they're up to.

Wisconsin professor infuriates neo-cons

Here's an interesting Christian Science Monitor piece titled "Teacher's radical 9/11 views raise red flags."

Writes Monitor reporter Amanda Paulson: According to Kevin Barrett, the US government planned and carried out the 9/11 attacks, the World Trade Center imploded due to explosives set up ahead of time in the buildings, Minnesota Sen. Paul Wellstone's plane crash was no accident, and Osama bin Laden has probably been dead since 2001.
Mr. Barrett is not a radical anarchist or a teenager peddling conspiracy theories; he's a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin, Madison - a fact that has outraged some state politicians.
The case has drawn national attention and provided grist for conservative talk-show hosts, while the university has been deluged with e-mails against Barrett. Yet it has stuck by the decision to have him teach a planned course on Islam this fall.

The post below this notes how The Oklahoman is quick to sneer at "conspiracy theories." Well, what about Joel Henry Hinrichs III, the OU junior who blew himself up outside OU Memorial Stadium last October? Remember, he tried to buy some ammonium nitrate at a feed store in Norman prior to his "suicide bombing."

And now we have two young men, Justin O'Dell and Dustin Wedgeworth, in jail tonight, further down Interstate 35 in San Antonio, Texas. Why? Because these two lads tried stealing some ammonium nitrate and blasting caps, as reported by San Antonio station KSAT.

So, what were Justin and Dustin up to? Are they dupes like Headless Joe Hinrichs the OU suicide bomber? It's scary to think about. Just glad these two jerks got caught.

EVEN BEFORE the smoke cleared on the bombing of the Murrah Building, conspiracy theorists began speculating not only on who had done the deed but on how the explosives in a rental truck could not have done so much damage.
Given that the events of Sept. 11, 2001, were witnessed by so many, we didn’t think conspiracy theorists could find much fodder in the destruction of the World Trade Center. We were wrong. People with apparently nothing better to do are claiming the Twin Towers, subject of a Oliver Stone movie that premiered last week, were brought down by explosives rather than by the jumbo jets that were flown into them.
This sick and twisted theory joins a long list of 9/11-related garbage spewing mostly from people who dislike — to put it mildly — President Bush. Indeed, the key difference between the Murrah bombing conspiracy theorists and the 9/11 version is that the former are generally from the rabid right and the latter are definitely in the loony left.
Another difference: With the bombing, not much academic prowess was evident. With 9/11, leaders of the pack are university types. (Another argument against tenure?)
Politicians who attach themselves to these “causes” should proceed with caution. An Oklahoma legislator, Republican Charles Key, was a leading author of confusion regarding the bombing and lost his seat. Unfortunately he’s attempting a comeback.
U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney, the in-again, out-again Georgia congresswoman, will be out again come the new year. She disgraced herself after 9/11 by claiming Bush knew the attacks were coming but did nothing to stop them. She was trounced last week in a Democratic runoff.
Conspiracy theories surrounding national tragedies are nothing new. Folks still claim the “real killers” of President Lincoln weren’t brought to justice. Imagine how strange things would have been in 1865 had the Internet been available to spread ignorance and paranoia.

Uneasy feelings

Unlike The Eagles, I'm not having that "peaceful easy feeling" right now. I'm seeing signs all over the place where the neocon/globalists are conspiring to drag us into a full-blown World War III scenario. This week seems to be a critical time, considering the upcoming drill in Hawaii, military movements in the Heartland and the phony air scare in England.

People I've talked to seem to sense something is in the air. 9/11 truth is getting more exposure. Alex Jones, as I've noted, suspects something big will go down between now and mid-October. We have to be vigilant and aware of what these evil people are up to. Bohemian Grove logo sticker spotted in OKC's Bricktown

Recognize this wise old winged beasty? Sho'nuff, it's that creepy owl logo from Bohemian Grove in northern California. It was in the form of a sticker on a power box or somesuch on a wall along East Sheridan in the Bricktown district of Oklahoma City. It's either something a punk skater put there, like those Andre the Giant "OBEY" stickers or it's something far more sinister. Just minutes earlier I snapped a pic of another of these owl stickers stuck on an ATM a couple o' blocks over on Oklahoma Avenue. Are the Boho Grovers trying to tell us they are watching us? Of course real hard news is a rare commodity in OKC. Like what really went down on April 19, 1995?

BushCo minion wants more 'Big Brother' tyranny

Department of Fatherland Tyranny Michael "Skeletor" Chertoff is up to his old tricks again, this time telling the public that our freedom-loving government wants more centralized power following the phony baloney event in England last week.

Notes the AP: Chertoff made clear his belief that wider authority could thwart future attacks at a time when Congress is reviewing the proper scope of the Bush administration's executive powers for its warrantless eavesdropping program and military tribunals for detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
"What helped the British in this case is the ability to be nimble, to be fast, to be flexible, to operate based on fast-moving information," he said. "We have to make sure our legal system allows us to do that. It's not like the 20th century, where you had time to get warrants."

Martial law around the corner

This morning, when I heard about the thwarted "terror attacks" centered on airlines out of the UK, I shuddered because I had this weird vision yesterday of planes blowing up in mid-air. This wasn't a dream. It frightens me because someone close to me is leaving for England today. What's also weird is that I've had a very strong feeling that stocking up on food and water would be wise at this time.

And then there's this ...

Alex Jones just warned the audience that there is a 90 percent chance of World War III and martial law in the next two months. This following today's thwarted "terror attacks." Jones, who I've trusted for years and warned listeners that attacks were coming two months prior to 9/11.

Said Jones just now: "We are entering the darkest waters the Western world has ever seen."

He added that he predicts "bone-shattering" attacks just around the corner, in either the U.S., Canada or England.

This is looking grim, particularly in light of heightened tensions in the Middle East.

Please pray for our country.

Ol' Man Rummy extends troop tours in sunny Iraq

Notes AFP reporter Jim Mannion: US commanders have effectively given up hopes for even a gradual reduction in the US force this year on account of a bitter insurgency and spiralling sectarian violence.
It boosted the size of the US force from 14 brigades to 15 brigades, and from 127,000 troops to at least 130,000.

And then mean ol' Uncle Rummy chimes in when word gets out about the extension: "If you extend somebody, is there some disappointment that they won't be home when they thought they would be home? Sure," US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld told reporters. "But, as I say, this is a professional military, and they are doing a superb job."
He said when an army unit was extended for several months two years ago, "they handled it in a professional way, and got on with life."

Well, not all of 'em have gotten "on with life." No thanks to you evil neocons, our troops are dying or getting maimed in your pointless war.

Opposition mounts against NAFTA Superhighway

Despite some exceptions, one can count on the majority of citizens in Ellis County, Texas (just south of Dallas) to take traditional conservative positions on a subject.

Thankfully, most are against this absurd, sovereignty-destroying Trans-Texas Corridor/NAFTA Superhighway that is expected to be built through Ellis County. Of course, after the Superconducting Super Collidor fiasco of 15 years ago, many are rightfully cautious about government boondoggles.

In the latest issue of The Ellis County Press, one of the nation's best weekly papers, Press reporter Sherry Long writes about a public meeting about the TTC.

Writes Long: No matter how state transportation officials present it, Ellis County residents said they are opposed to the Trans-Texas Corridor.
Almost 400 residents were present during a public hearing at Waxahachie’s Civic Center Wednesday, July 12 to learn more about the corridor being proposed by the Texas Department of Transportation.
The 600-mile corridor stretching from Mexico to Oklahoma, paralleling most of the eastern portion of Interstate 35, could eventually include separate lanes for commuter trains, commercial trains, tractor-trailers, passenger traffic and utility easements.

“This is going to spilt the United States in two and erase the borders eventually,” Waxahachie resident Jimmie Simmons said. (Simmons is a good friend and former landlord of mine).

Continuing, Long writes: Fighting against the proposed toll road for several years, Ennis resident David Hunnicutt said the government should use the resources it already had instead of trying to force Texans to accept this superhighway.
Worried about people losing their property rights, Hunnicutt said he began speaking out after discovering the bill gave TxDOT officials the ability to condemn property if home-owners refused to sell or could not agree on a price with transportation officials. The bill stated, “a property owner or tenant who refuses to vacate the property or yield possession is subject to forcible entry.”
“This bill sets a precedent, if followed, will change the United States,” he said noting property owners could lose their homes while trying to fight the state in court to save their homesteads.

Fetzer, founder and co-chair of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, a non-partisan society of more than 300 members dedicated to exposing falsehoods and revealing truths about 9/11, said that the absence of response from the FCC, Fox News, and the national media speaks volumes about the state of the nation. "When public threats can be made to a citizen's life for expressing his opinions on a controversial topic and neither the government nor the media respond," he observed, "that is a sure sign we are living in a fascist state."

Trans-Texas Catastrophe in the making

The NAFTA SuperHighway story, first brought to the mainstream via Jerome Corsi's articles in Human Events, is starting to get into other publications as well (perhaps including The Lawton Constitution, thanks to yours truly) including the Associated Press, via the Houston Chronicle, in a story headlined: "Farmers furious at Texas governor over proposed superhighway and datelined Hillsboro, Texas, just down the road from Waxahachie.

Anyway, the story really slams Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who has been forcing this through for several years. Perry is another globalist who is in line with Bush's New World Order dreams.

Notes the article: Supporters say the corridors are needed to handle the expected NAFTA-driven boom in the flow of goods to and from Mexico and handle Texas' growing population.
Despite a state attorney general's ruling that the Cintra-Zachry contract be made public, the Perry administration has gone to court to prevent the disclosure of what is says is proprietary information.
"We don't know for sure whether this is a concept that we can endorse or not because we have not seen it," complained Mayor Will Lowrance of Hillsboro, a town of 8,200 people 55 miles south of Dallas. "I happen to still believe in the open records law in Texas."

The police state is here

Over at the libertarian Hammer of Truth site (which featured T. Lee Horne III's latest gubernatorial campaign ad for Louisiana), they have a post regarding a new book by Radley Balko called "Overkill: The Rise of Paramilitary Police Raids in America" and put out by the CATO Institute as noted in this CATO press release. This sounds like a book I should have the local library put on their shelf.

And it's true about the "overkill" regarding paramilitary-style police raids. They're far too common. The "men in black ski masks," as Alex Jones likes to say, are all too real and while these SWAT types do get some bad guys, they also hurt innocent folks in botched raids, or are themselves killed as we saw in early 2003 in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Here's a portion of a summary of Balko's new book: These increasingly frequent raids, 40,000 per year by one estimate, are needlessly subjecting nonviolent drug offenders, bystanders, and wrongly targeted civilians to the terror of having their homes invaded while they’re sleeping, usually by teams of heavily armed paramilitary units dressed not as police officers but as soldiers. These raids bring unnecessary violence and provocation to nonviolent drug offenders, many of whom were guilty of only misdemeanors. The raids terrorize innocents when police mistakenly target the wrong residence. And they have resulted in dozens of needless deaths and injuries, not only of drug offenders, but also of police officers, children, bystanders, and innocent suspects.

Where are the Christians?

Columnist/commentator Pat Buchanan has yet another solid column, this linked through WorldNetDaily, titled "Where are the Christians?" His question is asked because, save for Pope Benedict XVI, no other Christian denominations have condemned Israel's attacks on Lebanon, which have killed many innocent civilians.

I'm familiar enough with Protestant denominations of Christianity and I can tell you that many are seeing what is going on in the Middle East right now as part of an End Times prophecy, which will lead to "Armageddon." I'm afraid many are not going to speak out because they believe this is what is supposed to happen. It's sad. The Girl Scout murders of '77

In June 1977, one of the most shocking and horrific murders to take place in modern-day Oklahoma occured at a quiet Girl Scout camp called Camp Scott, located near the eastern Oklahoma town of Locust Grove.

Until a day or so ago I don't think I'd ever heard of the Oklahoma Girl Scout murders. And being a crime reporter in Oklahoma, these sorts of things catch my attention. A chum of mine brought it to my attention via this somewhat sensationalized website and a reference on Wikipedia.

Writes someone at Kyle Wood's crime site: Once a wilderness utopia where children played, it's fifty-year history came crashing to a sudden end with the ghastly murders of three Girl Scouts in 1977. Michele Heather Guse , 9, Doris Denise Milner , 10, and Lori Lee Farmer , 8, had all fallen victim to a monsterous killer--the likes of which Oklahoma and the nation had never before seen. A curious crime that to this day continues on as one of the country's most unusual mysteries.

The story is absolutely chilling. Having gone to summer camps in neighboring Arkansas and Missouri just after this time period (1979-85), this tale hits closer to home.

And there were warnings. A note inside a donut box found on the camp grounds two months earlier read: "We are on a mission to kill three girls." This was thought to be a prank at the time and the note was discarded. On the night of the murders, eerie moans were heard and a scream at 3 a.m.

A suspect, Gene Hart, was found and tried but found not guilty. While in prison on charges, he died of a heart attack. It is thought that another person may have been involved in the murders. The case is considered open but inactive.

Bruce Willis no longer government apologist?

I've always liked Bruce Willis. Sure, he's done the big-explosion films like "Die Hard" and "Armageddon," but he's also done thoughtful, avant garde films like "12 Monkeys."

Anyway, saw this over at Prison Planet, saying that a neo-con blog, Hot Air, got "wind" of Alex Jones' interview on Tuesday with director Richard Linklater ("A Scanner Darkly," "School of Rock," etc.) who noted that"he had handed out DVD's on set which carried claims that 9/11 was perpetrated by the US government to erect a police state to Bruce Willis, one of the stars of Linklater's upcoming "Fast Food Nation."
"He said it put him in such a head space that he will be quiet on issues of national policy."
Linklater said Willis had told him in an e mail that the videos had changed his entire political paradigm.
"Bruce is a pretty thinking radical kind of guy," said Linklater.

Well, the neo-con's action hero appears to have come to the 9/11 Truth side, much to the disgust of Hot Air bloggers like "Allahpundit," who writes:

UW-Madison lecturer singled out for 9/11 truth views

Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle, who apparently has nothing better to do, has gone after an Islamic studies lecturer named Kevin Barrett, who has questioned the government's "story" about what happened on 9/11.

Notes The Capital Times of Madison, Wis:
Barrett has drawn fire for his plans to teach an Islamic studies course next fall that questions whether the U.S. government was involved in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in Washington, D.C., and New York City.
Some state lawmakers, conservative commentators and Republican gubernatorial candidate U.S. Rep. Mark Green have called for Barrett's firing.
Doyle, a UW-Madison graduate, said the issue of Barrett's employment is not "a matter so much on what his political views are" as his fitness to teach students.
Doyle described the letter, dated July 5, as "sort of a diatribe about a lot of different issues."
"One of the things you want at the university is someone who bases their teaching on facts. If there's any institution that should be devoted to a factual analysis of what's going on, it should be the university," he said.
Doyle added, "This is for the university to look at, but I think they really have to take a hard look at that."

Writes Jones and Paul Joseph Watson: Following the raid Salada was questioned on his ownership of a Citizen's Rulebook, speeches by George Washington and Alex Jones' books and videos. He was asked why he read and listened to them and if he believed them.
The agents asked Salada if he was in a militia or if he knew anyone that was. Salada had previously sent out material asking why Montana didn't have a state organized militia when it was required by law.
The agents then specifically asked Salada about specific individuals in the freedom movement, including JPFO's Aaron Zelman, author Devvy Kidd and constitutional attorney Edward Vieira. The only way the agents could have known about Salada's interest in the work of Kidd and Vieira was if they had gained access to his e mail.

Will more of these raids occur? I can only imagine there have been more of these sorts of raids that we haven't even heard about.

Aspartame kills ants dead!

Ever since I was a kid I've avoided products containing saccharine, Nutrasweet and more recently, aspartame. I've heard too many horrible things about aspartame. We live in the woods and carpenter ants are a huge problem. We have spent thousands of dollars with Orkin and on ant poisons trying to keep them under control but nothing has helped.
So when I read somewhere that aspartame (Nutrasweet) was actually developed as an ant poison and only changed to being considered non-poisonous after it was realized that a lot more money could be made on it as a sweetener than as an ant poison, I decided to give it a try.

I opened two packets of aspartame sweetener, and dumped one in a corner of each of our bathrooms. That was about 2 years ago and I have not seen any carpenter ants for about 9 to 12 months. It works better than the most deadly poisons I have tried. Any time they show up again, I simply dump another package of Nutrasweet in a corner, and they will be gone for a year or so again.

Since posting this information I have had many people tell me of their success solving ant problems with this substance, when nothing else worked. We found later that small black ants would not eat the aspartame. It was determined that if you mixed it with apple juice, they would quickly take it back to the nest, and all would be dead within 24 hours, usually. I have found that sometimes it will kill them, and sometimes it does not. Not sure why, may be slightly different species of ants or something.

Fire Ants: We got our first fire ant hill about 2 weeks ago. Poison did not work. We tried aspartame and the ants ignored it until we got a light rain. It was just a sprinkle, enough to moisten the Nutrasweet and ground, but not enough to wash it away. They went crazy, hundreds of them grabbing it and taking it back into the mound. When I checked the mound 2 days later, there was no sign of the fire ants. I even dug the mound up some, and still saw none of them.

How does it Work: Aspartame is a neuropoison. It most likely kills the ants by interfering with their nervous system. It could be direct, like stopping their heart, or something more subtle like killing their sense of taste so they can’t figure out what is eatable, or smell, so they can’t follow their trails, or misidentify their colonies members, so they start fighting each other. Not sure what causes them to end up dying, just know that for many species of ants it will kill them quickly and effectively.

As with any poison I recommend wearing gloves and washing any skin areas that come in contact with this poison, and avoid getting it in your mouth, despite anything the labeling may indicate. I suspect it will work for other insects such as yellow jackets as well, but have not tested that yet.

High strangeness on Earth and in space

So, the launch of the Discovery space shuttle has been delayed a second day and is going to be on July 4th, eh? Hmmm. Seems strange that they wouldn't wait until July 5th. Why the 4th? Weather conditions?

Strange things are afoot here on Earth, and perhaps, in space as well. Check out this story from KRDO Channel 13 in Colorado Springs. Seems as though NORAD is on heightened alert. Why? The story doesn't say. Also on heightened alert? Vandenburg AFB which launched a huge, super-secret rocket last Tuesday - a rocket launch observed by a mysterious UFO that hovered nearby as a Radiohead concert was underway. I noted this over at Slice O' Life last Thursday.

There are five levels of alert: normal, Alpha (low), Bravo (medium), Charlie (high) and Delta (critical). “Bravo-Plus” is slightly higher than a medium threat level.
The Cheyenne Mountain Air Station And Buckley Air Force Base are among four installations in the country at the higher alert level ordered last week by then- Acting-Commander of Air Force Space Command, General Fred Klotz.
Space Command would not comment on the reason for the security increase.
The order also affects Vandenberg Air Force Base in California and Patrick Air Force Base in Florida.
